San Lorenzo House

2010 

Shaped like an H, this highly urban home frames its own front and rear courtyards and the horizontal members appear to spring out from the anchored concrete towers.  Inspired by the architecture of Louis Kahn and Richard Neutra, this house separates served and servant spaces, contrasts solid and void, and is a celebration of concrete, wood, steel and glass.
